Try to keep the laughter to a minimum. This is my first true, all digital drawing with no paper used whatsoever. I made this message for myself to keep moving forward.

This is great work! Congradulations with your first digital drawing =3
I love this shade of yelow, not bright, remainds me of the one I use.
But what with line art??? What kind of tool you used for it? It looks a bit pixel.

I used Sketchpro 6 to draw all my line art, but in this case, I goofed up and drew the image too small. I think Jessica was only 500 pixels tall and I tried to upscale it in Photoshop so it was so small and it wound up this way. :(

By this point I was almost done and didn't want to start over.

Oh I see.. I hope in the future you will avoid this problem. I use the large size for my work - 3000х4000 pixels usualy. It is very convenient to use.

Btw, why are you using so many programs? Sai has some really good tools for line art - vector layer for example. Where you can edit the line thickness [link]

I use Photoshop for very little--scanning in stuff, color checking, ect. No actual drawing is done in it. Sketchbook Pro is nice because it's easy to create clean line work with the steady stroke tool. Instead of manipulating curvves or vector points, it follows you as draw and eliminates shakey lines, especially on large drawings. Once you get used to it, you don't want to draw finalize art without it.

For me, the best way to draw lines by hand. I no longer use a vector, I use the pen tool in Sai. It also has a small alignment function of the line. It's not easy, but I like the effect and quality of the line that obtained.
